Holly Lowenberg takes home NJCAA Pitcher of the Week honors
MILWAUKEE — Bryant & Stratton College softball pitcher Holly Lowenberg has been named NJCAA DII Pitcher of the Week following an dominant week in the circle.
Lowenberg was named WFSCA D3 Player of the Year in high school and she’s had the opportunity to learn from sophomore pitcher, Macey Clark.
“She has a year of experience under her belt and has made an incredible transformation from last year to this year. Her maturity has helped nurture our freshman pitcher, Holly Lowenberg. She [Holly] is dialed in, ready to compete and brings a no-nonsense attitude to the mound,” Bryant & Stratton softball head coach Dean Herman said.
During the week she pitched 28 innings, recorded 54 strikeouts, one earned run and four wins. She also had a perfect game and a no-hitter.
The Bobcats will take the field again on March 14 at 9 a.m.
