Bryant & Stratton softball ranked for first time in program history
MILWAUKEE — The softball program at Bryant & Stratton College is off to a dominant start. It has a record of 16-1 heading into its regional schedule.
Outings from Macey Clark and Holly Lowenberg, who was named NJCAA DII Pitcher of the Week, helped propel the Bobcats to their fantastic start.
Along with fantastic performances, the Bobcats also found out on Monday that they are the No. 17-ranked team in NJCAA DII. It’s the first time in program history that the team has been ranked.
“Being ranked for the first time in program history is obviously something that’s important to us, but our mantra is “Stay humble and hungry,” so we’ll make sure our girls stay focused on that,” softball head coach Dean Herman said.
The Bobcats will eye to continue their winning ways when they hit the diamond again on March 22 against Joliet Junor College.
