Bryant & Stratton College softball opens Region 4 play with impressive sweep
Bryant & Stratton College Bobcats sweep Triton College Trojans
WEST ALLIS, Wis. — Bryant & Stratton College (WI) softball was at home back at Rainbow Park. Herman's squad opened up with a tough opening doubleheader against the Triton College Trojans, who sported a 13-3 overall record.

Game 1 | Bryant & Stratton 8, Triton 0
Holly Lowenberg started the game for the Bobcats. The right-hander gave up seven hits and zero runs over six innings, struck out three and walked one.
Olivia Fietz drove the middle of the lineup, leading the Bobcats with two runs batted in. She went 1-for-2 on the day. Lily Fairfield set the tone at the top of the lineup, leading the Bobcats with three hits.
Joscelyn Bennett and Gia Cobert each collected multiple hits for Bryant & Stratton.

- Fairfield raised her batting average to .453
Game 2 | Bryant & Stratton 3, Triton 0
Kylie Stark started for the Bobcats and the freshman dominated in the circle. She gave up just two hits and zero runs over seven innings, struck out five and walked three.

Bryant & Stratton jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the third inning after Joscelyn Bennett drew a walk, scoring one run, and Sophia Santiago singled, scoring two runs.
Fairfield and Cobert were a force at the top of the lineup in the second game. They combined for four hits, while Sophia Santiago had the lone RBI for the Bobcats.
Up Next: The Bobcats face Joliet Junior College on Friday at 3 and 5 p.m. at home.
