Women's soccer weekend recap
MILWAUKEE — While men’s soccer was in action, Bryant & Stratton College’s women’s soccer team also took to the field, matching up with Black Hawk College and Morton.
Coach Garcia’s squad dropped both games. However, Garcia and her squad are learning from both competitions.
“Last weekend was a tremendous learning experience for us as a team,” Garcia said. “Competing against two top teams really showed us where we stand and what we need to improve.”
Everyone associated with the program is ready to move on and they’ll look to improve in the coming weeks.
“We’re looking forward to having our full squad out on the field next week. I was especially impressed with the softball girls who stepped in—they adapted quickly and worked hard, which made a big difference. The determination and effort my team is putting in, even outside of practice, is truly remarkable. This is our building year, and I have no doubt that we’ll continue to grow and turn things around. We’re taking it one game at a time, focusing on adjustments and fixing our mistakes.”
The Bobcats take on Triton College on Sept. 4.
