"Coaching a college program is something that has been on my list for a long time but never had a chance to try," Ficks said. "Building a brand new program is something I find very humbling and I am excited to get startred."
In 2006, Ficks earned the Fay Tooley USPTA Award for his service to the industry. From 2004 to 2018, Ficks served as the Tennis and Pickleball Director for 14 years at the Moorland Tennis and Pickleball Club.

Ficks now holds the keys to building the inaugural tennis program at Bryant & Stratton.
