WAUWATOSA, WI (May 20, 2019) - Friday, May 17 marked as an unforgettable day for Alexis Nagy as she signed her National Letter of Intent to compete for the Bryant & Stratton College volleyball program this fall.
Nagy comes from Delevan, WI where she competed on the Delavan Darien High School varsity team for two seasons.
"Alexis is quick, explosive and has a fast arm," Bobcats head coach Heather Curley said. "Her speed and attacking ability will create problems for opposing defenses."
The 5'8" middle hitter led the Southern Lakes Conference in producing the most blocks this past season.
"I love her competitive attitude," Curley said. "She is strong both athletically and academically."
With the 2019 season just a few months away, Nagy will take time this offseason to prepare for her next challenge at the collegiatge level.
"Today is the day that I begin a new chapter of my volleyball career," Nagy said. "I am so very greatful for this opportunity to play collegiate volleyball at Bryant & Stratton."
In their inaugural 2018 season, Curley led the Bobcats to a 15-11 overall record as well as the program's first-ever playoff appearance.
