Bio

Dean Herman came to Bryant & Stratton College in the fall of 2018 where he took on the role of the head softball coach and Athletic Operations Coordinator. 

Herman served as the head varsity softball coach for Johnson Creek High School prior to arriving at Bryant & Stratton. He compiled 78 wins and just 25 losses in four years. The Bluejays also qualified for sectionals in three out of those four years.

Herman founded the Johnson Creek Yellowjackets travel softball club that offers high-level competitive softball to girls with teams at the 8U through 18U levels.  In 2017, the Yellowjackets finished seventh at NAFA Nationals out of 84 teams.

As a player, Herman competed on the Edgewood College baseball team during undergrad and served as an assistant coach for the softball team at Edgewood two years after graduation.

Herman graduated with a degree in Business/Marketing.

He currently resides in Johnson Creek with his wife Melissa and four children – Jazmin, Brandon, Bella and Tanner.\
